another popular energy drink is now under fire. >> the fda is investigating five hour energy drinks. and it is possible that it is linked to more than a dozen deaths. >> abc2 news linda so is live this morning with the details. linda, how many people have died from this? >> reporter: over the last four years the fda has received reports that 13 people have died all possibly linked to the five hour energy drink. this comes just a couple overweenings after the fda consider of weeks after -- of weeks after the fda began investigating five deaths possibly linked to monster energy drink. you'll remember the parents of the 14-year-old hagerstown girl was suing the maker of monster energy saying the caffeine in the drink criminated to her death. that -- contributed to her death. that girl went into cardiac arrest after drinking two 24- ounce monster drinks in a 24 hour period. the fda says five hour energy has been mentioned in about 90 filings with the agency and 30 of them include serious of life- threatening injuries like heart attacks and in one case a spontaneous abortion. the drink i
five hour energy is under fire. there are reports of 13 deaths over the past four years that cited a possible involvement of the five hour energy drink. the fda filings link the drink to more than 30 incidents involving serious or life- threatening injuries like heart attacks and convulsions. the company says their product is safe when used as directed and it's unaware of any deaths proven to be caused by the drinking of the popular energy drink. >>> all right, news around the nation. three men suspected of robbing a bank lead police on a wild chase. those robbers take off down a busy highway in florida. dodging and weaving in and out of every lane. this caught on camera. the driver slams into the back of another car then swerves into on coming traffic. the men flee on foot and trying to scale a fence. they are trying their best to get away but police grabbed them ask all three under arrest. >>> a police officer comes within seconds of possibly losing his life the whole thing caught on camera. dashcam video shows the car coming right at him. then swerving to avoid a total head-on c
